Alex Junior Syrup is a combination of two drugs: Chlorphenamine maleate (antihistamine) and Dextromethorphan (cough suppressant). Chlorphenamine maleate belongs to the class of antihistamines or anti-allergic that work by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions.
