Cepodem DS 100 Suspension belongs to the group of cephalosporin antibiotics indicated in the treatment of bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, including infections of the lungs, throat, tonsils, and sinus cavities. Cepodem DS 100 Suspension contains ‘Cefpodoxime’, which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Cepodem DS 100 Suspension works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering (cell wall), which is necessary for their survival.
